A single hollow bead made in a pinkish purple. It's made with transparent glass that contains cloudy transparent pigment which gives the bead an overall translucent effect.
NOTE: This is a single bead. If there is more than one of these currently in stock, and you buy two or more they will NOT be exactly the same, so please do not purchase two of these expecting them to be a pair. The sizes I've given are approximate so that I don't have to create a single listing per bead. If I have pairs of hollow beads for sale they will be listed separately so please check the rest of my shop. It's tricky to get a consistent size with hollows so any pairs I do have are down to luck.
ANOTHER NOTE: My hollow beads are not blown; they are built using the two disc method so they are not as fragile as you might expect. The walls of the bead are about 2mm thick so they are robust. Obviously the beads are glass and they might smash if you throw them with force at a brick wall or concrete floor, as would most glass beads, so don't be doing that. Basically, the hollow beads are sturdy and nothing like as fragile as a glass Christmas tree bauble.
Bead size/s: Approximately 15mm diameter x 11.5mm
Hole size: Approximately 2.5mm
Kiln annealed and cleaned
Note: Although I have captured the beads' colours as best as I can, different screen and monitor settings vary and as such the colours of the beads may appear slightly different in real life than they do on your computer or device. In particular, Apple devices tend to ramp up the reds so please bear this in mind when viewing beads that are red, pink, purple etc.
Tumble-etching is not available for these beads.
