Crochet Shawl - Caramel & Chocolate

This triangular crochet shawl is made from gradient yarn that ranges from off-white through caramel tones and into grey, ending with milk chocolate brown. Think Snickers bar in wearable, non-edible form.

It can be worn draped over the shoulders as a shawl and also wrapped around the neck as a scarf.

The pattern is the Obscure Orchid Shawl by the brilliant Agneta Nauclèr of MeAndMyYarnCrochet.

The shawl measures approximately 160cm (63 inches) along its longest top edge (the wingspan) and about 80cm (31 1/2 inches) from the centre of that edge down to its point.

My mannequin is a UK size 12.

The yarn is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic. Hand wash your shawl in cool water with a gentle yarn wash such as Eucalan and lay the shawl flat to dry.
