Crochet Shawl - Blue, Sand & Anthracite Sparkle

This triangular crochet shawl is made from gradient yarn in denim blue fading through pale blue, cream, sandy beige and ending in anthracite grey. The yarn has a gold-coloured metallic thread running all the way through it for a touch a sparkle.

It can be worn draped over the shoulders as a shawl and also around the neck as a scarf.

The pattern is my own design.

The shawl measures approximately 170 (67 inches) along its longest top edge (the wingspan) and about 83cm (32inches) from the centre of that edge down to its point.

My mannequin is a UK size 12.

The yarn is 53% cotton, 43% acrylic and 4% metallic polyester. Hand wash your shawl in cool water with a gentle yarn wash such as Eucalan and lay the shawl flat to dry.
